Crossed Sabers Ski & Sports is owner-operated by Tom Phelps.

Tom has been involved in the ski and specialty sport industry since 1972. His daily involvement and years of industry relationships have proven to be of great benefit to Crossed Sabers' success.

Tom's goal is to provide a friendly, family-oriented specialty sports store environment.

"It is relatively easy to stock a store with product, but the product rarely speaks for itself. The key is to establish communication with our customers, find their needs and budgets, then present quality products and service to meet those expectations.

We strive to provide our customers with accurate product information, competitive prices and top quality products. There are no commission sales by our staff. We want everyone who visits our store to experience a friendly and informative relationship.

Another reason customers keep coming back is because of our staff. Everyone here skis, snowboards, bikes, or skates; they participate in the sports they sell. We focus on staff product knowledge and training, and they have fun doing it."

Crossed Sabers' employees are our most valuable assets. We enjoy a high level of returning staff, season after season. All employees are taught by veteran staff members and manufacturer's representatives to ensure a high degree of product knowledge and service skills.
